LOCATION
The former Intercontinental hotel is situated on Mannerheimintie, the main street of city center Helsinki, it is within walking distance of the Finnish National Opera, Finlandia Hall, the new modern Art museum "Kiasma", the Finnish National Museum, the Parliament House and the city centre shopping area. Getting around the city is easy, with many trams and busses stopping opposite the hotel.
ACCOMMODATION
The Hotel Continental has 512 comfortable, well-equipped rooms, featuring a warm colourful decor. The 156 rooms in the hotel's north wing have all been fully renovated, and are equipped with air conditioning, temperature control, trouser press, triple windows and PC connection. Some also feature an in-room safety deposit, a combined printer/telefax/scanner/copier and a separate modem line.

Customer services are comprehensive, and include 24 hour room service, a Business Centre, meeting and banquet services, in-house laundry, gift-shop, hairdresser, garage, Finnair check-in and special reception at the Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
